I guess I am taking comfort in this
journalling definitely is a comfort, and perhaps it's not the same for me as drawing a drawing
or painting a painting but I definitely have realized that coming here and producing some kind
of writing is a source of expression and peace and relief.
I'm not complaining but rather just sharing that I am finding that 'right here' is a place where I feel
an outlet and reassured and calmed.
today was well planned to begin with - and I knew what I wanted to do first thing in the morning...
starbucks and then home and then breakfast and then cleaning up - then shower - then errand.
but I suppose it's when I don't have a plan to do something I can eventually 'conk out' - aka 'mental offline' - and not know
what to do with myself (hey I've said that before!hah)
I'm definitely seeing we all need an outlet activity.
At first I found that thinking about spirituality really helped me feel inspired again ..and
also it gave myself some space to breath....space enough to realize and
think about the sources of outlets we each have, is helping me feel reassured and inspired.
not so isolating.
I think that leap to finding what gives you peace when you don't have peace at times is
probably a really good thing to notice about myself/onself.. I think I'll go for a walk soon.
peace,
Mark

Drawing, doodling, painting, and other forms of artisan crafts are great to do when the brain needs to switch 'off' and you just want to wander with the hands.
Here's to finding the peace within!
Thanks Mid
My linguistic arts are far more developed than my graphic arts, but I hold them as equals in expression. It matters not which medium I use at any given moment, nor how advanced my skills in the expression. The important part is to express yourself. Live out loud.
My favorite definition of "success" is where you jump out of bed in the morning as think with a smile, "Wow! ! ! I get to do it all again."
It's okay that some days are more successful than others. Time is an arbitrary measure. I can start a new day any minute of any day.
