I got a "free pass."
My dear friend, who is also our pastor's wife and a neuro intensive care nurse, phoned yesterday to "Give you a free pass from serving at the senior meal this month." Today I would have went and worked at church all day to serve a noon meal for our seniors when they come in for a special monthly church service. She is such a honey. She also called up one weekend and said, "I am on call rather than at the hospital this weekend, is there something I can do for you?" Of course, I wouldn't dream of letting her do my housework, but it sure was nice to have someone offer.
My doctor also sent me a little email note to let me know that she is anxiously awaiting my time with the specialists as well. Good to know that she also is learning a lesson of patience. She already thanked her for getting her nose in the books about MG. LOL. Labwork today, otherwise slow and steady.

The spoon theory, http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/articles/written-by-christine/the-spoon-theory-written-by-christine-miserandino/ , is a way to explain energy supply of people with these chronic, energy sucking, illnesses. I am having more trouble with the spoon theory now, because apparently my spoons can be stolen without me even planning their use.
