I forgot my mantra....story of my life

I tend to find myself in the study of life. I find myself needing to know all the different lifestyles

out there, and the bare essential relationships and make something out of all of it.

I need to build a life that works for me and so thinking about it I'll then slowly somehow make myself

a plan of action, point myself in a direction only to lose my place mentally and become

a blank slate (hence 'I forgot my mantra.')

My charge is to have to reorganize myself, my practice, and bend my memory until I find a way

back towards a kind of mission statement to get on with life. That seems a little like it could

be said in a less simplistic, blanket statement way. I am doing ok - I know we all have to keep

on track and for my gentle nature and my need

for isolation at times because of the powerful effect the group can have on me this place serves

me well - at least it is serving me well tonight.  I need time

alone to remember that I am an individual. That I have to take care of my life, myself and

go for what I want too.

and? ? ? what was the mantra you forgot?

i forget mantras continually on my life journey. rediscovering a moldy oldie can feel a bit like rediscovering an old friend. i've wondered a time or fifty if that forgettance is the diff between dogma and philosophy. just wondering without certainty that the diff is worth defining.
