I don't remember if I shared this before...but it helps me!
I had a meeting with my resident at UCLA last week. I am struggling to feel strong and value myself this morning. I'm remembering to look back to my journals to get a sense of inspiration and hope. Remembering that life is about taking care of life is helping too. This is from last week, it's helping too:

"I’ve been kind of jumpy today perhaps because of the impending travel but as we talked (me and the resident doctor) I expressed to her all the good things going on here at the monastery and work before I left. I said candidly “…I’ll never be fixed…” and she took that opportunity to say “ rather than see ourselves as needing to be fixed, we all have to accept areas that are a challenge to us….it can help us be more empathic people.”
I really loved that. It made me toss my fear to just a kind of good natured acceptance."

have a good day you guys!!
