I don't know what I did wrong last night !!!

Last night in bed he was constantly tossing and turning for about an hour. I was making it difficult for me to get to sleep. I asked him was he okay and he said he felt hot ( it was actually quite cold temperature wise ). He then said can I shut the cat up as it purring was annoying him. He sleeps with earplugs in so he can't hear my snoring or other noises and out cat doesn't purr loudly and I asked him did he have his earplugs in. I then asked him if he would be more comfortable in the bed if I slept in the guest room.
His reply was " I would be happy if you would just stop talking" 
This really hurt so much and I felt angry so I got up and on my way to go sit outside in the patio area I slammed the kitchen door.
He knows that he was nasty to me last night. I could tell by the hesitant way he went to give me his usual quick kiss before he leaves for work. I could feel he was unsure if it would be reciprocated. It was but not in the same way I normally would because I think he should apologise to me for the way he spoke to me last night. He knows it too. I was only concerned about him and trying to help. Makes me feel like WHY BOTHER !!!!
