I Don't Cry to Upset People
I cry very easily. I always have. I woke up depressed this morning and my son is making demands. He needed my help to make fudge. I get up and I weepy. He immediately gets angry with me saying, "Whenever he wants to do something fun, I ruin it by crying." I try to explain to him that I can't help it and he snaps, "I don't want to hear it!
I don't cry to upset people. I do it because I'm in pain and/or scared. The world is is a complicated and confusing place. There's too many steps and rules to almost everything. The amount of hoops you have to jump through to get tanything accomplished is rediculous. This might be one of the reason there are so many homeless people. They couldn't get through all the read tape and gave up. Why can't this be made a little simpler? Of course the rampant corruption keep people who deserve the help don't get it.
I feel afraid for my son and other young people the future he will have to live in. I'm sure it won't be easy. I feel tired and defeted now.
