I desperately need someone to talk to

I need a friend, just someone to talk to to distract me when I get low. I feel like I've lost so much and so many people lately, I just don't know where to turn. I'm battling suicidal thoughts every night pretty much, I just feel so overwhelmed by deperation and loneliness

Hello Harleyquinn1,
I do not often check this site or much on my emails. Sorry to hear of the loss of your dog and the pain you are dealing with from your post.
I well know at the loss of my one special dog who came in my life during a horrendous change of life.
They can be so dear and at least in my case he seemed so much closer to me than even my family or friends.
Someone I trusted told me their experience with grief was a painful, but necessary process in life.
We cannot hide, avoid, or go around it, but must walk through it one step at a time.
Please do not give up. Keep walking through and reaching to others.
My heart and prayers go out to you.

Thank you. My dog was my best friend, she was one of the 2 things keeping me going, I just find it so hard to find meaning in anything anymore

I hear you.
This is certainly not a perfect world...
When we find one thing or another sentient being to whom we connect it is such a beautiful gift... and then the rivers of time rush them away... *sigh*
Put your hand on your chest and feel your heart, because you are still here means you have a purpose....
I had been volunteering at an animal shelter when my special boy passed. Resolved no more dogs in my heart. The pain was too much, I wanted to help but do so at a distance.
Little did I even know that day I walked in the animal shelter my life would change... He had not even been released for adoption and was a court case of animal abuse. His owner had received a jail sentence and he could not be there for the dog. He was a 60lb. very, very skinny mastiff pup at 6 months of age. His golden eyes fixed on mine as I walked onto the kennel floor. Our hearts linked, and I knew there was no stopping destiny. the BIG E entered my life... he is now 7yrs old and my certified CGC & Therapy Dog.
He has also bonded with my husband who is home more because of stg. IV cancer. The Big E keeps me grounded and sane. He reminds me no matter what the moment is, good or bad, life is a gift to be shared.
Hoping you find peace, my friend.
