I confronted Dave yesterday.

I confronted Dave yesterday.  Dave did not remember telling me that he hit on a woman at the Pumphouse.  He told me with a clear head what really happened and I believe him.  Dave does not have an ego regarding his looks.  I pumped him up and told him what a good looking man he is and that women do notice him.  When he was at the pumphouse, Dave had to go to the washroom.  He walks past a table and notices the girl with her boyfriend.  They made eye contact and he continued on walking.  I do that all the time and don't consider it a thing.  You have to pass many tables to go to the washroom.  They made eye contact again when Dave came back from the washroom.  You can't help it in a small bar.  I don't consider it flirting or hitting on anyone.  Dave apologized and said he used the wrong words.  I noticed Dave is not that good in chosing the correct words.  I noticed this in the course of four monthst that we have been seeing one another.  I am better at it than compared to Dave.  It did boost his ego that is for sure.  He said he can't help feeling good about it when the opposite sex notices him.  Dave is a one woman man.  I feel secure in our relationship.  When Dave told me he hit on a woman, it did not jive with the person I have come to know.  It all makes sense when we talked about it yesterday.  I did tell him that I was really hurt by it and had to question our relationship.  Dave apologizes again to me.  We talked about it at night as well.  I think we chewed the dog's bone to dust now with this issue.
