I change so much

I change so much during the day before that when I wake up the next morning the day seems daunting. Perhaps I should harness this change in that as the morning begins and moves along I can tell myself that things will change for the better.

as i drift down my metaphorical river of self and watch the banks change throughout the day, i wonder if it's okay that i change constantly and unpredictably during every single day. should i try to carve the perfect me in never-changing stone or kick back back and enjoy the adventure?

how 'bout a soundtrack to aid the contemplation?

Change is inevitable, as they say.

I am always telling people at work that it’s good to be adaptable and I think that pretty much goes for life. So maybe how you personally change within can be seen as flexibility to be harnessed somehow.

I was sooo looking forward to brunch this morning but the 7 year old ive been caring for in recent months has a horrible allergy congestion cough and I can’t take him out. Ive changed and canceled plans a dozen times. The babysitting gig has given me a viewpoint of how being adaptable is a strategy….embracing change. I know you are talking about your internal change. What are the sorts of things causing it? Some is illness and brain chemistry, sure. But maybe there is more external forces at play too.

Yawn. My day is going to be boring. Im bummed. Ive been so agitated from work. Trying to be adaptable on my end.

Thanks Nikki! Sending peace and good vibes. The need to adapt is a part of life AGREED!!!. In the process of adapting I so need to talk about it… most of the times. It’s not that I won’t adapt it’s just that I need to talk and vent a little.
