I binged last night
So I binged last night on a bunch of food. I was trying to figure out what triggered it. And of course it goes back to the not being able to sleep problem. When I can't sleep and I'm hungry I binge. And then I'm able to fall asleep. So I was thinking about what would could I do to change this behavior or not fall in the same trap again because I know every time I binge I gain weight. Solution- eat my dinner later at night. Since on this diet I can't eat 3 hours before bed so why not push it right to that point. So instead of eating between 5 and 5:30 pm I'm going to eat at around 7:30 pm. Then I will be still full at bedtime and not be tempted when I have a bad day. That also means that I will have to eat later in the day for other mealtimes. But that is okay. I'm hoping that putting myself on this system will help me.
On a positive note I have noticed that I'm starting to do more and take better care of myself even more consistently than before. It feels good that my house is cleaner than normal and I am able to keep on top of my laundry. And cook 3 meals a day plus exercise 20 to 30 minutes most days. I just got some beauty products from walmart for my feet and body and it felt great to put it on today. I started to use cetaphil facial cleanser on my face and noticed that my skin is looking better. So I feel so much better. I'm starting to look at myself in the mirror and thinking I look pretty again. I'm halfway through my teeth whitening process and my teeth are starting to look like they did when I was a teen. Now I just need to save up enough money to go get my eyebrows done. They're very bushy and need to be shaped.
I just think about how far I've come just in the last 6 months. I remember there was a time in my life where I wasn't bathing and my hygeine was so horrible. I know that God is restoring and healing me because of the changes I see every day. Only things that God and I can see. I'm excited about what the next year holds. I pray that I can continue on this journey of weight loss with reaching every goal I set. It really helps to keep me motivated. I can tell that by setting mini-goals it has really helped me stay on track and then when I reach goals I always celebrate! Praise His Holy name! He is good.
