I am losing my "Positivity" for not smoking.
I am sick. I don't know if it is the Chantix, but after two days of feeling nauseous, I think I'll wean myself off of it. After doing a lot of research on Chantix, I thought about how well my body would actually return to normal if I was taking another drug to lessen the effects. I mean did it even make sense? I could see using the Chantix for the first 3 or 4 withdrawal days, but after that.... are these receptors that are suppose to be healing going to actually heal with the Chantix? Oh well, I'll see what happens.
Meanwhile, I'm also thinking to myself "what have I done"? Are these stomach aches caused by my body returning to normal? If so then this sucks! I thought I had the stomach flu, but maybe not. The symptoms seem the same, but it is just too coincidental that I stop smoking and I also get stomach flu. I did read a little bit about this on Whyquit.com but I guess I thought "not me". Ok, maybe I'm just a big baby trying to look for an excuse to smoke again. I think, I'll end up losing weight because every time I eat, I get nauseous. I'll keep some granola around and nibble on things until I can get my digestive system in order. Geez, this fucking sucks.
