I am having a good day - still miss my SMokey

I am having a good day.  I still miss my Smokey.
I took my older brother Don out for breakfast as it is his birthday.
My friend Carol and I got chinese take out for lunch.  It was great.
I still live in the one-bedroom apartment Smokey and I shared.  I look around.  I changed things and got a new paint job.  I can't help it but the place reminds me of the love the two of us shared.  Its hard not to feel that way.  This November it will be three years since my own personal loss of the man that I loved.
