I AM A FOOL
THIS SHOULD GIVE EVERYONE A CHUCKLE... THIS IS ME ON OUR RECENT TRIP TO THE iSLAND. We are at a re-creation of an old school house. They had stilts and I use to play on stilts as a child. Well, of course, I had to try it out. I figured just like riding a bike..you never forget. Well, the girls thought I was nuts, which of course I am, but I am always up for a litttle fun and foolishness. They were convinced I was going to do myself bodily harm. Well, after a few failed attempts..SUCCESS!!! Yeah, I knew I could still do it. And nothing got broken or bruised.I had a frustrating day yesterday. I was at Walmart trying to get my photos from our Island trip done so I can make all three gals a memory book. I was adding borders and text. well, I had made it halfway through and then I somehow hit the wrong button and all my work was gone!!! I spent an hour doing it...was I ever pissed off. i left. I will go back later today. hopefully, I will get them all done and no more booboos.Missing hubby something wicked and he has only been gone 4 and 1/2 days. He will be home around August 23. Oh, boy, a long haul yet. It's not like I don't have lots to do ,it's the nights I mind the most.Well, the dogs are barking to get in and I think I will lay in the sun and read for a bit.hope everyone has a great day. I used to be quite good on stilts but not sure I\'d try that now, just standing on level ground can be a challenge some days. It might be fun to try though, it\'s amazes me at times to think of the things I used to do without thought that I\'ve just forgotten, remember the hula hoops? I could spin one of those like a top, did give that a try a decade or so ago and whatever rotation thing I had going as a kid is long gone now, LOL
Good for you for feeling like a kid again on the stilts, it\'s fun to act like a kid once in awhile!!
