hungry for life experiences

I've noticed that after work, or an outting, I come home

and begin settling into my routine here at home. Very often, if I settle in -

and say I watch some TV - I realize I start having nearly unconsciously

a yearning inside - a yearning that if left unchecked can turn into

a woefulness. I'm realizing that I have a real big hunger lately -

for life experiences...whatever form that might take...it's like

i want something that will be about 'moving forward' - about achieving or just

a part of a full life.

I'm up this morning at 530am - nice to sleep in (lol :) and I got

my coffee. I'm about to dress for the Treepeople event which starts

at 8am. My mind while sitting here watching tv has undermined me

and it's twisting the drives in me for life into a want to isolate and stay home.

I know however this Treepeople event is my one outting for the week

which I like very much - and so I'll get dressed and just go for it!

I'll be  home by 1130am - take a shower then - and get on with the day.

I hope you guys are doing well. Sending peace!

So what holds you back, marky? Mental health challenges? Sometimes a way of maneuvering around them is just simply: DO. Make those experiences you’d like.

Enjoy your volunteer time!

Savor every bite, Markus Questionarius, even the boxing matches between you and you. Nourish your soul. May the best you win.

Carpe diem.

Thanks Arfie! I’m on a mountain side right now, helping the Treepeople.org :)

Carpe the mountain while you are there. Mountains are a precious resource with lots of bites to savor.

Steer clear of the chigger bites, if you can.

What you are doing today IS a life experience - the beauty and calm of nature IS living!

I’m so glad it’s such a good experience - and rewarding in multitudes of way for years to come. I live surrounded in an urban terrain but I cherish the trees and nature so much. Great work Markus.
