Humph...
Saturday night, yesterday and this morning were GREAT! Yesterday was a beautiful morning! A little overcast and humid, but nice. I woke up at 0600 to go down to the river and Cox for the Seniors and Weekenders Rowing Team. It was the roughest row EVER- I seriously wanted to jump overboard. I stayed at the boathouse until 1200 to get my dad's single down, de-rig it, clean it, and put it on Nick's trailer. For Father's Day I decided that I would clean, wax, shine, fix, and rename the boat for him. We bought this single for him two years ago for his birthday and it has the weirdest Russian name on it...so he has been wanting to take that off and put a new name on it! It is a very long process to get all this accomplished, but I'm working on it. Sometime this week I have to go to Nick's (a friend of the family who own's a boat repair shop and fixes boats in his spare time) shop and work on the boat.
Last night I gave him a card saying that his present was too large to wrap and that he would have to patiently wait as it will not be ready for 1-2 weeks. I could not hold it in as to what it was (originally I wanted it to be a surprise) so I just had to tell him! He was shocked and so excited :) We had dinner at my parent's and I actually had a great time! Something that I have not experienced in a LONG time.
This morning I woke up in a great mood despite the overcast and rainy weather. I walked dogs and then went to Caribou coffee to study (they know me by first name now!)- though I did not get much studying done. I really would just like to write and read. I then checked my email and received one from Joanna. My eyes immediately flooded with tears. She wrote, "I made a mistake with scheduling. I can't do tomorrow at 2pm. I can do tomorrow at 8pm. Will that work for you? I know you have class but maybe you will be done in time? Sorry about the mistake. Let me know if 8pm works."
My response was short, "Just great, I cannot." She then responded with, "ok, then, I will see you Wednesday. If I get a cancellation during the day tomorrow, I will call you."
ARGH, I am so pissed! I cannot control my anger right now, and I am not able to focus enough to study at all. I keep breaking down in fucking tears. So I responded to her. She always tells me to express my feelings and anger. Last time I was pissed at her she said to me, "why did you not tell me you were pissed and explain it?" So...this time I am telling her point blank...here is what I wrote.
"I am so upset and angry right now. Prior to this I was having such a great day. How could you of possibly made a mistake. For over two weeks you have told me and reminded me of changes in our schedule. TWO weeks. You remind me of the next time we meet after EVERY single session and even emailed it to me after the first time you mentioned it when I forgot. How could you of made a mistake if it has been on your calendar for over TWO weeks. That's just wrong. If something came up unexpectedly I would understand but just a mistake? That I cannot understand, especially since you had planned for it so long in advance.
This is not right and I am not a happy camper with you right now. Please don't say that you understand why I'm upset and that I have a right to feel that way- that's not going to make me feel better or change anything. Yes, I did edit this so it does not sound as harsh as it was when I first wrote it."
Now I'm off to go fail my fucking Microbiology test. Just super.

OMG, you are such an awesome daughter. What a wonderful present. I would be way too lazy to do something like for anybody. So glad you had a good dinner.
I\'m always disappointed when my therapist cancels on me and it makes me very anxious. He is just a totally safe person to tell everything to, so I totally understand that you were upset and crying is ok. Your e-mail sounds very tame to what you usually send so kudos for that. I hope you your anger simmers down and bit and good luck for your test.
Hey Sorry about your therapist canceling on you...I guess I would be a little disappointed too on how she worded it too... As my therapist this week, had a crazy schedule and changed it on me twice, but it wasn\'t her fault..and she talked to me about it...vs just saying a mistake.. but you voiced your opinion I sure hope you where able to go on, because remember you can\'t control anything after that...Easy to say hard to do.. I am STILL learning that.. BUT it does help sometimes.. Anyway hope the test went good
