Hubby is hooked up and almost ready to go!!

So, the vasectomy reversal is OVER!! I can't believe it--it feels surreal! Dr. Silber said the surgery was a complete success with reconnections on both sides and viable sperm found in the seminal fluid. YAY! We also have plenty of sperm frozen for future use if necessary. Bobby is groggy but handling the discomfort pretty well for 24 hours postop.  Now we begin a whole new part of our marriage--trying to conceive!! After 3 years, this doesn't seem real yet. I am so used to knowing there is no possible way to get pregnant--the uncertainty of it all is...well...not sure how I feel about it. How often should we have sex?? Should I buy one of those predictor kits? I am so brand new to this. I think for the first month we will go "natural" (LOL) and see what that brings us.  Also, I am still smoke free and doing well. At this point I am not even thinking about it and I can tell that I am breathing clearer. YAY!!

Yay, 10 days smoke free?! That\'s a big deal in the early times of quitting. Keep it up. I\'m very happy the procedure went so well, things look so positive for you! I completely understand getting to go \"natural\" and it is way better. Enjoy!

I am so glad to hear everything went so well. I think the book that I used was called \"Taking Charge of Your Fertility\"...it really helped me a lot. Maybe you can find it at amazon.com. Good luck! Oh, and keep up the good work with trying to quit smoking!
