How much more can I take?

I really don't know how much more I can take. I really started feeling better last week then I crashed again the past week. And now my back. I have no idea how I sprained it. None. The past 3 times were at the restaurant and then there was the one time when we were in Florida and I was bending over to get something out ofmy suitcase that was on the floor. I went to my PCP for it 3 days ago and he gave me flexeril and codeine. I didn't fill the codeine script because I hate taking pain meds except advil. I tried the flexeril and it made my throat burn and my chest hurt. I took it a year ago with no problems.

Today I had a follow up appointment for my neck with my neurosurgeon and he wants to add in physical therapy for my back also. So now I'm doing physical therapy for 3 different issues. It's almost hilarious at this point. The neurosurgeon said not to worry about the muscle relaxers and just take advil. I'm in so much pain. I just took a Vicodin. It hasn't kicked in yet. I feel so angry, pissed and hopeless.  I don't undestand why my body keeps failing me. And if one more doctor says you're still young and healthy I'm going to punch them in the face. How does young and healthy translate into being at the doctor 3 times a week???
I also had my thyroid tested again 3 days ago. Of course they didn't call me with the results I got an email saying my results were ready in mychart. My TSH barely moved since being off the synthroid for 6 weeks which says to me I don't need it. I need to have John help me make another list of things I need to get done.

My mood keeps going all over the place. I was so angry 2 days ago. Yesterday I was crying to my mom on the phone and today despite being in pain I feel emotionless. This can't be all related to hormones. It's not normal to dig your nails into your arms. I got diagnosed with a mood disorder in the past and bi polar 2 currently but I don't need meds for it???  I called to get a new p doc yesterday but they need a referral from my PCP or current p doc. I feel like I'm getting nowhere but I'll keep trying. My gut instinct is telling me to try the depakote again for more than a few days to see if the exhaustion feeling subsides but that's not what the p doc said to do so I guess I'll wait.

Yes, wait. If your pdoc said not to take it, don\'t. See how quickly you can get in to see your pdoc and express your concerns. I was once in P/T for my ankle and shoulder and I thought I was a real mess but we HURT ourselves and we can\'t just bounce back. Take the vicodin, rest and when you\'re feeling better, the world will feel like a better place. ((((Hugs))))
