How is everyone?
How is everyone? I am taking it one day at a time. Things haven't changed much for me. I was hoping to hear some positive things from the rest of you.
1. Smokey has been gone since Nov. 15, 2009 and I miss him greatly.
2. I still have not been gainfully employed since 2008.
3. I am seeing Dave from time to time as the loneliness absolutely got to me even though I know he is not the man I would want to marry but is a good companion. He likes me a lot and that is where is stays so its a mutual thing. I don't like living alone. Its nice to share your life with someone. I have given up on ever finding another soul mate like my Smokey. He was one in a million. I admire anyone person on this earth that is actually happy living alone. Its not me. I have friends and family which is a great thing for me.
4. I babysit my grandson a lot. I am expecting a granddaughter in the end of April beginning of May. This way i will have one of each. These are exciting things for me to look forward to as well. I will spend 2 weeks with Lisa as she adjusts to being a mother of two.

Hi Diane. I\'m doing well now. It was hard with Artie so sick for a while but we are adapting and I am grateful to have a second chance on love. As you may remember I had a friendship relationship for almost a year before Artie and it was very nice and I was happy having the companionship too. It probably would have lasted longer but there were differences we couldn\'t get past. I truly wish you happiness in whatever life brings. Sharon
I just give up on finding my soul mate if it is possible for the second time.

Congrats on the new grandchild. How exciting. I actually like living alone, but I\'m an introvert and we\'re just strange like that, I guess. Of course I have the dog which is lots of company. She introduced me to the neighbors, but I\'m not one for having friends that live that close. Typical introvert, heaven forbid someone should just drop in.
I\'m still working, but no pay, so I know about the job situation. Updating my resume now. Tough for us over 50s.
Yes, its totally tough for over 50 plus if you are out of the work for for any length of time (makes it harder). All the best on the work situation. I am an introvert/extrovert depending on the situation. Put me in a crowd of people, I withdraw. Put in a group of my friends and I am sociable.
You\'re an ambivert, a combination of both. My husband was like that. So much better, imo.
