How are all my Daily Strength Buddies doing today?

How are all my Daily Strength buddies doing today?
My early morning routine is getting out at the minimum of 20 resumes out(on a great day it is more), having my bath, eating breakfast and prayer/mediation/bible reading. The rest of the day seems to take care of itself. Yes, I am still seeing Dave.  He gets me out of the house which is good. I could easily turn into a hermit.  Without Smokey here with me in the apartment, I have no desire to go out.  I do because we all need to buy groceries or personal items like toner cartridge for the printer etc.  My older brother Don who has undiagnosed Aspererger's Syndrome comes over on a regular basis.  My friend Carol works Monday to Frday with split shifts or two part-time jobs using her Registered Care Attendant Course.  She looks after the elderly or ones who need help.  My daughter took the same course and looks after people with disabilities.  My daughter works 7 days per week.  She took a 2nd part-time job as a server.  My daughters goal is to pay off the credit cards.  Its a good goal.  Lisa (thats her name) says she only wants to do the 2nd job for 6 months and then re-evaluate the situation.  Its exhausting not having any days off to relax and spend time with her son (my grandson).  The way it works now Tyson is in daycare for 2 days, Grant (his daddy my future son-in-law) looks after Tyson for 2 days and I get to look after Tyson for 3 days.  I love spending time with him that is for sure.  I wish I could get a job but maybe I am too old for office work anymore as I am 56.  I just don't know how to change careers now when I have been a receptionist/secretary/administrative assistant all my life.  Who knows where their life is going that is for sure?  We just struggle and try to do our very best.  Hopefully we get some rest, relaxation and fun in our lives as well.  I think maybe I was blessed to have the love of my life and soul mate with Smokey and am not holding my breath that I will find anyone else again for me.  If I can't find a Christian Soul Mate, I can live and enjoy my life as a widow.  Its okay.  There is nothing wrong with living alone.  Life can be pleasurable and enjoyable still.  I have many family members around and a few friends.  I feel blessed despite the fact I lost Smokey.  My life is a struggle but with my faith in God through Jesus Christ, I will get through this as well.  Some days are much harder than compared to other days.  Some days I am on top of the world.  Some days I am at the bottom of the pile.  I just needed to vent some of these things out to my Daily Strength friends.  Thank you for listening from Diane B.
