Hooray, I passed.
With all the pain the moms are dealing with, I hesitate to write a frevilous journal, but I feel so relieved I think I will go ahead and write it.
Yesterday, I had to renew my drivers license after 5 years. In NC the testing is not easy for renewal and I have been so stressed out the past few days, fearing I would fail the test and not be able to drive, that I worked myself up into a frenzy of emotions. Some of the examiners can be real "a-------" (had one 5 years ago when I just barely passed the test by 1 point) and I was fearful I would get another one. Wonder of wonders I got the most wonderful female examiner who told me I aced the test and she would see me again in 5 years. I felt so happy and relieved I wanted to run around to the other side of the desk, and give her a hugh bear hug. However, I did restrain myself, for fear she would think I was mental, and revoke my license. Instead, I thanked her and wished her a very good day.
On the way home, I stopped at Arby's and treated myself to a large fish sandwich, fries and large iced tea. I have high cholesterol, so fried food is forbidden. However, sometimes you just have to say "what the *********" and go ahead and do something forbidden.
I had forgotten how to enjoy the little things that can bring us such joy for a few moments.
Needless to say, my stress and fear is gone and I have nothing to worry about...........until 5 years from now.
I hope all of you will try to do something a little forbidden in your life that will give you a few moments of joy. We all deserve it. Love, Katrina

Oh my goodness, Congratulations for a load of your mind for another 5 years! I feel the same way every time my son\'s car passes the emissions test! They are \"off our back\" for another few years LOL. I LOVE Arbys and love to get the corned beef reuben (with extra saurkraut). And in a few short years (less than 4), I am moving to NC....getting the heck out of here in Maryland!
Peace.
very neat! :)
