Home to be with the God that created him

Friday, March 25, 1:00 am, my husband took his last breath very peacefully.  I praise God that he is no longer suffering.
Bob's brother, Dean and I stayed up talking in the room where Bob lay, until after midnight. As I was getting in bed, I looked over to check on Bob, and did not believe at first that he wasn't breathing.  There was no momentous last breath, or last words, he just slipped away peacefully.
My kid's father just passed away  My husband passed away.  What an honor to have him die at home, peacefully, surrounded by his rother, his wife, his cat and dog.
It's now 4 am and I must sleep.  Busy day tomorrow.
Karen

I have accepted your friend request...I only wish I had been around to help to give you the strength needed in the past months. I have just been diagnosed with RCC and will have my kidney removed the beginning of May. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
