HOME BUT NOT FOR LONG!
I HAVE FLOWN SOUTH TO PUERTO PLATA WITH THE BIRDS...LOL!! WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THE TEMPS WERE ABOVE 85*F EVERYDAY, GOTTA LOVE THAT. SO, THIS WAS OUR FIRST ALL-INCLUSIVE AND WE REALLY ENJOYED IT. WE MADE SOME NEW FRIENDS AND ALL THREE COUPLES JUST HAPPEN TO BE FROM NOVA SCOTIA AND ARE ONLY ABOUT 2 HOURS AWAY. SO WE ARE PLANNING ON VISITS. EVERYTHING WAS JUST PERFECT FROM THE WEATHER TO OUR ROOM; GREAT SERVICE, LOTS OF GOOD FOOD AND DRINK. WE ALSO DID TWO EXCURSIONS, ONE WAS A BUGGY RIDE. I MEAN LIKE A DUNE BUGGY. WE WENT OVER THE BACK ROADS AND GOT TO SEE A LOT OF THE COUNTRY. AND WE GOT ABSOLUTELY FILTHY, ALL MY CLOTHES WENT RIGHT IN THE GARBAGE, THERE WAS NO SAVING THEM. WE WENT WITH TWO OTHER COUPLES AND THIS ADDED TO THE FUN!! WE LIKED IT SO...MUCH THAT WE ARE LEAVING ON FEB 12 FOR ANOTHER WEEK IN THE DOMINICAN. HOWEVER, WE ARE STAYING IN A DIFFERENT PLACE. WE WILL BE IN SOSUA WHICH IS ABOUT 25 MINUTES FROM WHERE WE STAYED THIS TIME. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THEY COMPARE. THIS TIME IT IS ACTUALLY TWO RESORTS TOGETHER AND WE HAVE ACCESS TO EVERYTHING ON BOTH RESORTS.SO BASICALLY, I UNPACKED, WASHED THE CLOTHES AND HAVE REPACKED. THIS WILL BE OUR LAST TRIP TOGETHER UNTIL NEXT WINTER. BUT I MAY DO SOME TRAVELLING WITH MUM OR SOME FRIENDS. WELL, THAT’S ABOUT IT FOR ME. EERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY. DEBBIE

Glad you had a great time and great weather!!!!! Sosua - we did a day trip there. They have a really long open market there, very aggressive sellers!

Hi Deb, glad you had a great time. Sounds like you make the best of it which is great. Your pics look good and warm. Of course I am still jealous,but happy for you to get some sun and fun. Sounds like you had an awesome time and I am sure you will on your next trip too. I love the \"All In-clusives\" because everything is there at your fingertips, much like a cruise. Your pics are great and you look healthy and rested. The most difficult part is coming home, ugh!!! xo
