Holiday...

...so the Arabic test didn't go bad, but I just remembered on the way home with my son at 5:30 that I had left something partially filled in to think about and go back to fix later, which I never went back to fix!!
The bad news is my son's homeroom teacher e-mailed this morning and apparently since his recent problems with the school, my son has just completely disengaged and is quickly moving towards failing.  So, we conferenced, my son talked to the counselor and me this afternoon.  Part of our new plan included me closely monitoring my son's homework over the next week.  And guess what?  While we were unloading our groceries, those puppies literally ate his homework!!  I mean it is in hundreds of little bitty pieces!!!
So, I was sitting here taking a moment and thinking about playing the song "Holiday" because it would be so nice...oh yeah...just one day out of life....
Yep, that's where I'm at!!!
