holiday
First July 4th without you honey miss you so much you were best at bbqing always you loved it so much. I felt so lonely and empty without you and this is just the beginning of holidays w/o you. It seems so unfair that the good ones have to leave. There is little to no peace in my heart the only thing I know is that one day I will see you again I hope it's not when I am 90. I shed so many tears this weekend and I just couldn't get motivated. I just wanted to sit in a corner and close my eyes and hoped that when I woke up it's just a bad dream but no it's just the bad hand I was dealt in life. Waiting for some peace. I keep praying for relief even if it's just one day.

Thanks it\'s just hard and I know I am not alone I just wish the good ones could hang out longer sometimes I feel like I am such a whiner, my husband loved BBQng, but he stopped when he got sick also and he gave away his bbq pit about a year ago to a friend he knew he couldn\'t use it anymore so sad. We never expected him to be gone this year we thought he\'d be in remission but that\'s not the way it panned out. This is just the beginning of so many holidays. I wish you peace as well and prayers and hugs good to know I have friends here. Lisa
Lisa,
Like you and Carol, my Rob took care of all the festivities including BBQing & fireworks for the 4th. I tried to hold back the tears as my little ones kept saying \"I wish dad was here\". Even my two older sons had a very hard time. This holiday was definitely Rob\'s and he made it great. Like you said, this is just the beginning of so many more holidays without our spouses .. I get sick just thinking about it. I pray for peace for all of us. Sending prayers & hugs.

God bless you and your children and may you find some tranquility this is what we all need. We\'ll hang in there together. I\'m going away for a couple of weeks to N.C which I am looking forward to but I dread coming back home. Peace be with everyone Lisa
