Holding my own
Hi, friends, jus a short note to let you know what’s been going on in my life, not much really. I am still on the cusp of a major depression crash but I’m holding my own. Doing the great battle thing again. God, I wish this war was over !!! I just get to a place where I’m comfortable with my body/mind and emotions. A place where I can enjoy life at a certain level. Of course, it’s nowhere near where I once was but that’s okay. I’ve finally come to terms with that issue. I try to look for joy and happiness every single day. These tools and many others have helped me to survive and not let " IT " win !!! Reminds me of the song, " I Will Survive ". Yesterday, had my nails done and it was so nice to catch up with my girlfriend. She’s a doll!! Then I went to visit another friend and another friend was there too so We had some laughter, good for the soul. I had to leave about 3:00 to trot home and have a quick snack because our final anxiety group was meeting from 4 til 6. If I don’t eat something I can’t concentrate. I’m glad the course is over. I felt it was a waste of my time, not to struck on the instructors either. I’m sure they’re great people but just not suited to this kind of work.

Love the picture crazy friend!!!
I went for a course at the hospital in Amherst for a few months for those with depressing and it was a major waste of time!! All it seemed to do was what I called the bandaid treatment. They can\'t see it covered up with a bandaid so you are healed and it won\'t bother you again!!
Horse @#$**&^!@#!!!!!!!!!! I don\'t know where the instructors got their degrees from, a box of cereal maybe?,but like you I stuck with it until the end hoping that something good would happen. And in the end they gave me a key with a red ribbon on it so if I started to feel depressed I was to take it out and look at it and remember what they said would work if I gave it a chance. But the funny thing was they never gave me any instructions to remember!!! Very frustrating!!
I\'m glad you have a good friends to spend time with, good friends are a blessing aren\'t they?
Take care, hugs from your \'crazy\' friend, Cathy
