Holding it together

Well I feel like I am keeping my head above water this week so far. I've had some sad moments and some anxiety but its not consuming me. I think having the vacation to look forward to next week is helping. Plus work has been very slow the last few days. Tomorrow I work from home so that's always nice. I am packing for vacation and will leave to go to my bf's on sunday so only 4 more 'sleeps' till I put my luggage in the car and take off. I'll be gone for 11 nights total.
I'm feeling a bit anxious about leaving for so long. My daughter has her bf and the baby - if anything happens my sisters and mom are close and my Ex (her dad) 'should' come to her aid if she needs anything. I say should because I know he probably won't but its his responsibility before my family's... he doesn't see it that way though and has been useless. One of my sisters always bitches about my daughter asking them for help saying its his job not theirs so I am caught in the middle and I feel bad for my daughter when I'm not here. It just seems like no one else in the world gives a damn about her. I am doing my best to make sure she has everything she will need while I'm gone so she doesn't need to go to anyone.
OK, trying to think positive now. I'm getting tired and that's never good for my mood. Time to get some sleep.

How cute, \"4 more sleeps\". ;-) Only 3 now. Have a great time on your trip!

Vacation is one of the many things anxiety has stolen from me. Travel and to a lesser degree general change make me uncomfortable. For years I\'ve spent time off from work just doing stuff around my home town because of the anxiety. Fortunately I\'ve been feeling well enough to plan a trip to Texas to visit a friend. (We needed to cancel for a non-anxiety related issue.) I\'m also considering visiting my sister in Minnesota later this year.
