HMMMMMM????
Monday eve.: Don't know how I really feel today. I slept most of it away. Do I care???? Not so much. But I do get frustrated because then I don't get anything done. Although, I probably wouldn't do anything anyway. A couple of Scott's old girlfriend's came by tonight. That was nice. The girls always loved him. And even when they broke up they always remained friends. He was just too charming not to. I am always appreciative when his friends drop by to see how we are doing. I feel like they are honoring Scott every time they do. He just had no idea how many people loved him. It also shows, that beneath the addiction, he was an awesome guy with true friends even in his death. That makes me so sad, too. There just seems to be no purpose in his death. He was such an inspiration to so many people right on this earth. The only people who didn't like Scott were the ones he didn't want to like him. He never judged people by their looks, wealth, clothes, cars, etc. He didn't like or not like someone because of what someone else thought. He would stick up for the underdog. Oh, I am not forgetting the dark side. But, the dark side was drug induced. It was not pretty and was very frustrating, heartbreaking, and sad. The drugs just won.

I know what you mean Ginger, Richard was loved by everyone. He did not judge anyone. There was a little boy that road the same bus as Richard. After Richard became an Angel the little boy did not want to ride the bus because Richard would stick up for him. He cared about everyone and would not let someone pick on anyone if he was around. Holding you tight. Love MJ~Richard\'s Mom
Some days we just need to sleep.I did that yesterday. When I finally got up, I never changed out of my PJ\'s ,and I just watched movies. I had rented \"The Bucket List\" which was really good. Made me cry. Then today it was back to the old alarm clock going off, and back to work ... arrrggggghhhhh.
I know what you mean about the visits from old girlfriends. A couple of Justin\'s will call or come by, and it\'s so touching. They miss him so much. One in particular has such a void in her life now. It is good that they still feel like they can come to see us.
Jordan and Nick\'s friends are always stopping by the house. We still have BBQs and invite everyone over. It\'s so nice spending time with all of them. Sometimes it\'s hard though. I\'m so sorry for your pain. It\'s all so damn senseless, isn\'t it? Love ya honey, and hugging you tight. Barbara
This sounds just like my Jamie. He was always the friend of the underdog, if anyone was being picked on--for whatever reason--he instantly became Jamie\'s friend and that started when he was a child. He had so much compassion and empathy--his friends loved him, and almost all of them called me \"Mom\"--One in particular still considers me that because of some abuse in his own home. Even asked me to dance the \"son/Mom dance at his wedding and chose \"I\'ll always be there for you\" Please take comfort in knowing how much he was loved, that he no longer has to live with his demon-as my Jamie no longer lives with his (alcohol) Chin up, my friend-we have to make our sons proud of us--and they ARE watching. Love, Judy
Alex too was a friend to everyone...we have said a million times...everyone loved Alex. It is hard to believe that such awesome people have to be the ones to die. I hope that today is better for you...love and hugs...Karen
It seems like all of our boys are so similar in their characteristics. I never knew all the friends my son had until he died. I don\'t think he even knew how many lives he touched and continues to touch. It\'s hard but we all have our battles, small and large, that we try to conquer. You put it well, when you said \"the drugs won\". Drugs are an evil battle our young ones face in this world and I don\'t have a solution for them. You just have to hope and pray that if Scotts death made someone else using realize the impact it has on their life and the lives of others then they will seek help. I try to keep that frame of mind with my sons death. We teach them to not speed, wear their seatbelt, and not text on the phone. I never really discussed driving drowsy. I hope some of his friends are reminded when they try to keep the candle lit at both ends. Love to you friend. Robin
You hit it right on the head \"The Drugs Won\"I have been feeling very depressed Justin birthday was Monday nothing turned out the way I wanted it to be.But life isn\'t fair I\'m just one little person in this world who has lost a child.I don\'t know have to control my angry I haven\'t kept in touch with alot of his friends mostly his childhood friends I figure the rest wore dope heads .The funeral was full of young people but I have said a few things to some of them that think I\'m a psyco.I just don\'t know anymore life is hard. You take care ,thinking of you,jfm24,Vicki
Hugging you tight...holding your hand. I undertand...but we must look for some purpose for us...our kids would want that. Love, lana
Ginger, I feel so much the same way Josh wore his heart on his sleeve.oh at times he tried to be hard but he knew and I knew it just wasn\'t in him..it does break my heart because I do believe Josh didn\'t have a clue as to how many people loved him all of his friends said he was a true friend to have, always giving.and most have put there own unique tattoo on them..it just stinks!! why does it seemed to always be the good one\'s that are taken? I know honey you don\'t have the answer I was just thinking and writing out loud.I sometimes get so angry and want to go to all the freaking drug dealers & pusher\'s.. hell I don\'t know I can\'t conquer the world as much as I\'d like to. hugging you tight, peace to you, Love ya Tammy
