hi ho, hermit the frog here
Just went out and got the second coffee for the morning...
actually I also got a third coffee complimentary by accident...
At first I thought the drink they gave me was hot chocolate, just by the way it smelled,
so they said "we can't take that back but we'll make you a fresh order"
so I have two hot coffees sitting here in front of me lol.
I'll put one in the fridge and have it as iced coffee later today...bonus! :-)
It's crazy you guys, I am finding myself noticing what a hermit I have been.
My impulse was to go out for coffee then while 'out there'
I noticed I had myself so clenched in anxiety - a fear of society I guess-
- that I noticed I was just yearning get back home to my safe spot and inner sanctum.
I think there's probably a lot more fun things to open up to in the world than just being at home.
I kept thinking "we all struggle to make our days" and that commonality kept
me in good company - and also brought confidence and courage and vision.

Hermit the frog - good one. Hahaha
Are you livin la vida mocha today Mark, slammin coffees all day long? I hope Blue keeps you in line today.
I live in a very concentrated urban area that when I go out into it I feel like I’m instantly participating in society whether I actually am or not, but like I’m showing up for it. Some days it’s a lot though and I prefer to hermitize in sanctuary. I also get paranoia. I think it’s ok to be hermit-y at times but once it’s propelled to agoraphobia (which I’ve also experienced) then it’s time to think more clinically about it.
Maybe go find a lily pond somewhere where there other frogs congregating? Haha.
No but seriously, It helps to find social companions to go do stuff with. I do lots alone but very much value getting together with pals, even if I’m anxious, Work in progress.
Thanks Nikki!
Hm-m-m-m. . . Did you know that frogs are social critters?
I wonder what their take on coffee is?
Kermit approves of my regular coffees
Ribet, ribet. . .
