hi........
you're right heather.......it is never ending. do it once and then you turn around just to have to do it again......
i did a bit of gardening yesterday. sat in the white wicker chair and pondered over all that i couldn't do. not that beating myself up mentally helps. gotta turn back to what i could do and be happy that i could ......cause of all the days when those little glad bits are so far beyond reach.
the seed babies are moving along.......the baby sunflowers are now 4 inches high.......they grow so quickly! i added more dirt pots and more seeds. don't know is they will or won't come to life......added blue bachelor buttons, columbine and italian parsley. we'll see......since i didn't start them off indoors as recommended they may bomb.......or not!
i'm making cream of mushroom soup. so not hard, pop the can tab, plunk the contents into a pan......add liquid, whisk and heat.
the gardening and chores wiped me out completely, the shivers and added pain in my glands ramped up and i slept all last night and until about a half hour ago today. it's now 4:36........checked the soup, still not done.
i have fresh fruit, but it's not cut up......all i really want is the soup and some low sodium crackers. they don't taste like much, but they are soothing somehow. my tummy is crabby.......semi nauseous.
i looked up yard sales yesterday, saw one i thought would be fun to go to.......the good of this is that i'm trying to make plans beyond my bedroom, the other news is that i overshot the reality of real time energy levels. last year in may i had the most amazing month i've had in forever ......i did so much outside, it was such a pleasure to rise and meet the day. a gift from God. one to remember and continue giving thanks for.
i just stopped to look out at the new pots of baby seeds sitting in the dirt communing with the sun.......and i remember how much it hurt filling those pots, carrying them in through the garage door, then out the patio doors avoiding losing the cats in the process. it was hard. hurt a lot.....but then i sat resting and felt pride. not failure......pride. i wish i had a gardening buddy........but until that day i have so much to be thankful for........time to eat huh.........hugs, ruthie

I love to hear that you are gardening. I planted some red cabbage seeds and I planted the little plants. I hope they survive out there. I have a few more started in the house just in case. Love you.
I've started gardening this year for the first time in years. It wasn't much but it felt good. My mom was so happy for me to be out there with her.
