HELLO, I'M BACK!
HELLO, TO ALL MY DS FRIENDS. NO, I HAVE NOT FALLEN OFF THE PLANET...LOL!! SOME OF MY FRIENDS HERE THOUGHT I DID. RIGHT, NAOMI??
I AM TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH SOME OF YOU. I WILL READ SOME OF YOUR BACK JOURNALS AND MAKE A COMMENT OR TWO. I AM GOING TO TRY TO BE HERE ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK.
I HAVE BEEN BUSY, AS USUAL. I HAVE ALSO NOT BEEN FEELING GREAT SINCE THE END OF MARCH. I JUST SEEM TO BE CATCHING ONE BUG AFTER ANOTHER. MY DOC SAYS MY RESISTANCE IS DOWN. I AM ALSO VERY FATIGUED. TICKS ME OFF!! I HAVE SO MUCH I WANT TO DO AND I START OUT FULL OF ENERGY AND GOOD INTENTIONS AND IT IS NOT LONG BEFORE I AM OUT OF FUEL. THIS FRUSTRATES ME TO NO END!!! HOWEVER, I AM STARTING TO FEEL BETTER. I DID A LOT OF WORK THIS WEEKEND. I SPENT SATURDAY RAKING NEW GRAVEL THAT WE SPREAD IN OUR FENCED IN DOG YARD. IT WAS A LOT OF WORK AND MY BACK SURE LET ME KNOW I OVER DID IT. AH, QUE SERA,SERA! THEN ON SUNDAY I WAS BOUND AND DETERMINED COME HELL OR HIGH WATER THAT I WAS GOING TO POWERWASH THE TWO SIDES OF THE HOUSE. I ALSO WANTED TO WASH ALL THE EAVES WITH JAVEX ON ONE SIDE AS THEY GET MOLD AND MILDEW. WELL, I GOT IT DONE BUT IT WAS FREAKIN' FREEZING AND THE WIND WAS BLOWING SO I WAS TOTALLY SOAKED WHEN I WAS FINISHED..HEAD TO TOE. IT TOOK HOURS FOR MY FEET TO WARM UP. LATER IN THE DAY, I PUT UP MY NEW PATIO LIGHTS. SO ONCE AGAIN MY BACK AND NOW MY KNEES ARE SCREAMING AT ME AND CALLING ME AN IDIOT. YEAH, SOMETIMES MY STUBBORNESS OVERCOMES MY COMMON SENSE.
I HAD MY DENTAL SURGERY. EVERYTHING WENT WELL. I HAD NO SWELLING. IT TOOK A FEW DAYS FOR ME TO RECOVER FROM THE ANESTHETIC BUT THAT IS NORMAL FOR ME. PLUS I WAS ON TYLENOL2 WITH COEDINE FOR TWO DAYS. IT SETS ME ON MY BUTT SO I STOPPED TAKING IT AND JUST SUCKED UP THE PAIN. NO, I AM NOT SADISTIC IT IS JUST THAT THE COEDINE MAKES ME LOOPY AND NAUSEOUS. I GUESS I SHOULD SAY MORE LOOPY...LOL!
HALLELUJAH, MY DECK IS FINISHED!!! IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND OVER TWICE THE SIZE OF MY OLD ONE. MY HUBBY DID A SUPER JOB. I POSTED A FEW NEW PICS ON MY PHOTO PAGE. I WILL PUT ON BETTER ONES BUT I HAVE TO REDUCE THEM FIRST.
RIGHT NOW WE ARE GETTING READY TO PUT IN THE NEW POOL. HUBBY HAS THE AREA PREPPED FOR IT AND THAT WAS A HUGE JOB. HE AND SOME FRIENDS ARE GOING TO PUT IT UP ON SATURDAY.
I AM OFF TO MY SISTER'S IN WINDSOR, ONTARIO ON MAY 17TH. I WILL ONLY BE THERE FROM THURSDAY TIL TUESDAY. IT IS A SHORT VISIT BUT IT WILL BE NICE TO SEE HER.
WELL, I BEST END THIS LOMG, LONG JOURNAL. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO COME BACK MORE OFTEN SO THAT THE ENTRIES CAN BE SHORTER.

My you have been busy and I\'m sure your going to really enjoy that new deck, the pictures were awesome. I wish I could say I\'ve been getting as much done but not even close although we do now have ground again but so far all I\'ve done is look at it and wish it was getting taken care of

Good to see you journalling my dear friend. Sounds like you got alot done. Most people would look at you or I and think we are nuts for even thinking we are \"down\" or \"low on energy\" when we tell them what we have accomplished. I am sorry you have been down the last month. I havent felt so well myself but it is mostly stress induced I believe. I do have alot of trouble with my joints aching and weak muscles but I still push myself, like you, to get it done. Otherwise it won\'t be done.
I hope you have a great visit with your sister, it will be nice to get away. Those are the days I miss most, just going off to visit my mom. There is always just too much to do here and it pains me. I grieve the loss of that time actually.
I am sure you are excited about your new pool going in. That will make your summer enjoyable as I know how much you love your pool. Take it easy and dont push yourself too much. It will take you longer to build up your resistance...............luv ya and miss you. Look forward to hearing about your trip to your sisters............xo
So glad to hear from you. Yes i did think you you fell off the planet since i knew you didn\'t run away with some guy cause you have such a good hubby.
I hear you on the back aches and for me it is bunions too. i took out a lot of flower gardens and made the rest smaller. it was hard to do and I gave away a lot of stuff. I may have already told you this. I am so glad I did. It will be so much easier to take care of now. We put down the black material stuff and lots of wood chips. When the men came out to but up the 2 trees that fell they made a huge pile of wood chips for me. Hubby is running them threw are chipper to make them smaller. It really looks good and no weeding for me. Hurray. I just didn\'t want to be a slave to my yard this year or any year as a matter of fact. i just had to much going. i got it all how I wanted it and then was to old to take care of it without spending all my time out there. I want to enjoy summer and the lake and be lazy.
New deck, new pool, you will be in heaven. Hope it warms up. Tomorrow is my b-day and it is going to rain so we are going flower shopping in the rain. I want a Magnolia tree since mine died about 4 years ago from some disease. They are so beautiful. I am going to get some annuals which i never do. Just a few to give some more color since I ripped everything out. I kept Peonies, Stellas, Iris, Hybiscus, Hostas, the tall phloxs, and some ornimental grasses. I gave away a lot and threw away some in the woods that i couldn\'t get rid off. I put some out front and they were gone before I got back to the house. This will be so much easier for me, or did I say that. LOL.
What dental surgery? OUCH, I hate the dentist, gives me the chills.
I am going to my daughters for M. Day and then to my sisters the week end after. I never get to go to my sisters. She always comes here. It will be good to see my nieces and nephews and their children.
Just delete my journals and start fresh. You didn\'t miss anything anyway.
The first couple that looked at the puppies grabbed them up and took them on the spot. They had 2 boys and they fell in love immediately . That was easy.
