Heavy Heart Today
Today I had to watch another mother and father lay their child to rest. One of John's friends from way back was shot and killed on Friday. Jamie was only 46. Jamie was messed up from one end to the other. He never grew out of the parting phase of his life. Meth you name it. The man who shot him was his girlfriends daddy. He was protecting his daughter as Jamie was abusing her. Just a heart breaking story. I sat in the same chapel as I did almost five years ago. Watching his poor mother. I just wanted to hug her. As the paul bearers carried him out I lost it. I know my poor husband thought I had lost my mind. I my heart hurt so much for me, John, Jamie's parnets and the list goes on. We went to the grave side. He is buried only a few steps from Josh. When it came our turn in line to speak to the family I wrapped my arms around this woman and told her I understand I am a greiving mama also. We just hugged.
Mama update surgery was cancelled again due to something with her back. Well if everything goes OK the heart will be taken care of on October 5th. The day before Josh's birthday.
Love you all

So sad....but you can be the one who reaches out to this grieving mother and help her heal along the way. I can only think of all the things that she has been put through because of his addiction and now this....God bless them and God bless you as you deal again with the upcoming birthday of you sweet Josh.
I pray all goes well with your mother and that she will be healed completely. Love, dale...brandon\'s mom

Hi Rhonda, I am so sorry about this sad news. I don\'t like the reality that more parents are losing a child every day. I still can\'t believe it even though we have all lost a precious child. I know that your hug comforted those parents...hugs mean the most. Wishing you a little peace today. Love, Anne
So sad. Those poor poor family members. If you can get the word to them about FMO.
So very heartbreaking. Sending a big hug to you my friend. Diane
Rhonda, this is so sad. My heart breaks for Jamies mom. I\'m sure your hug and support to her was very comforting. Continued prayers for your Mama and thinking of you as Josh\'s birthday is approaching. Sending you lots of hugs, Kim
What an emotional time for you. My heart goes out to Jamie\'s family, especially his mom. It must have been so hard to go to that funeral but I am sure you made a difference to Jamie\'s mom.
Big hugs, Marlene
We all grieve with her, and know what she is feeling. It is so sad when a young person loses themselves to drugs, etc..I think those moments when we relive our own heartbreak will always be the same for us, at least I know it is for me. Even though I have adjusted to my new life without Kristie, whenever I hear of things like that, it always brings back my own experience. Take care. Love, Dawn
Rhonda, I am so sorry for your loss. We know what Jamie\'s mom is now facing. Love & peace, Linda
Rhonda, I am sorry to hear this, the ravages of drug abuse. It extends to so many, not just those addicted. Hugs, Belinda
