Health fixation

It has been a good weekend. I am starting to fixate on a new health worry. It all started because lately I have been feeling really full half way through my meal, with bloating afterwards and some upper and lower abdominal pain. My doctor did an upper ultrasound to rule out gallstones, which they didn't see any. Anyway I was reading an article in a magazine (ladies home journal, or goodhousekeeping I am not sure which) on female cancers, and the symptoms for ovarian cancer scared me. Because ovarian cancer doesn't have a lot of symptoms until it gets bad. But they say that most women had 6mths to 12mths earlier had complained about feeling full, fitigue, pain in abdomin and bloating. So the magazine suggested that you should get it checked out just to be sure with an ultrasound and a ca-125 blood test. And now I am starting to freak out, because although logically I know more then likely it is just a stomach problem the fact that they have a lot of simular symptoms is scarying me. But now I am wondering should I talk to my doctor about it. I have an appointment in about a month to see my doctor. So I guess I will wait until then and pray I don't have anything that serious and that my anxiety will stay down. I hate being so illogical and stupid about my health. I know what it comes from as a child I watched 3 grandparents die slowly of cancer and so my phobia comes from there. So now I am paranoid that every symptom is some form of cancer that they won't catch in time. I am ranting but it feels better to let it out. I hope you all are having a good day.
