Healing

Who would have thought that 2 little girls could be so powerful!  I dreaded facing Lisa's husband and his new wife.  I warned Cevyn that I would not tolerate them interfering with being with my great granddaughters.  When I met them the first time, at the hospital, I gave both of them a hug.  Beth looked a wee bit stunned.

Harvey called and asked to meet me at a coffee shop.  I said "of course".  We met him about an hour later.  He reassured us that we were welcome to spend time with the girls.  They are living with Harvey and Beth at the moment.  But he did say that Beth was uneasy.  I told him that I was aware that I had offended her but I meant nothing maliciously and was sorry.  He made some comment of my sense of humour.  I reassured him that the past is the past and I just wanted to go forward on good terms.  So we went to see the beans; Cevyn and Brendan's reference to the babes.  Lisa called Cevyn her peanut.  It was amazing.  It was like old times (before their wedding) with a lot of chat, laughter and copious consumption of red wine.  And of course, cuddling and admiring the babes.  We talked about Lisa with ease.  Beth tends to Lisa's grave - she had a Remembrance Day wreath at the grave.  Lisa had been in the military reserves for awhile so it was fitting.  She will go and redo it for Christmas.  I know she and Lisa were good friends and I am so glad that Beth and my rocky relationship over the past few years hasn't affected her feelings towards her.  We actually had dinner with them 3 times.

Cevyn and Brendan are good parents so far.  They are so proud of their beans.  As we were leaving, I gave Brendan a hug and said that he and Cevyn make beautiful babies.  He grinned and said "Yes, yes we do".

Miracles do happen.  I just wish Lisa could be here to cuddle and hug her beautiful grandchildren.

Lisa:  I miss you always and love you forever.  I know you are with your peanut and her beans, but I wish they could know their loving, amazing grandmother.

This journal fills me with such HOPE dearest Marlene, that no matter what the situation might be that in time and with openness that healing can and does happen. Isn't it amazing that these two little human "beans" created this opportunity for a shared love and vortex of healing?! Wow, just wow my friend and I couldn't be happier for ALL of you. I sense a huge weight has been lifted and you can now truly BE that village of loving care for Cevyn, Brendan and those darling Littles.

What a gift of healing your visit was in ways perhaps not even anticipated, yet hoped and longed for and the timing was right. I believe with all of my heart that so much of this is when hearts are ready and sometimes it just takes some time.

Yours is a journal filled with miracles and truly, one of hope. Missing Lisa with you and have no doubt she is grinning from ear to ear over all of this.

I am beyond thrilled, Marlene, truly I am for each of YOU! This is what the stuff of life is all about. Healing, well-being, forgiveness, hope and most of all LOVE.

Tightest of heart (((hugs)))

Marlene, such a beautiful post. I have tears. Those little loves are truly amazing little healers! Cevyn and Brendan are doing so well in their new roles as mum and dad. And it is just great that you, Harvey and Beth are getting on so well. It touched my heart to hear that Beth tends Lisa's grave
with such love and respect. That must mean so much to you. May you have many more opportunities to make memories with Cevyn and her girls. Love to you and dearest Lisa, Linda ♡

I love that " little beans" so cute I know twins can be overwhelming I helped Alyssa with the girls it was a learning curve for me 2 at the same time. She bottle fed so I learned when both where hungry at the same time sitting Indian style kids head on each knee and a bottle in each mouth LOL. They are the best in the healing dept. And will always will be no matter how old they get. Alaina and Hailey are 11 still working good in the healing stuff.

Sending tight hugs

I am so glad that things went so well and you got to spend such healing and joyful moments with everyone... Its easy to love babies... adults... sometimes not so easy... but it does sound like Beth is giving everyone the gift of keeping. remembering. loving Lisa by making remembering Lisa a natural part of all of their lives... Hugs to you and Joe and hope you get back and give the beans some for me and Richard soon.
