Heading Home Tomorrow
Tomorrow I'm on my way home and should start doing my journals as normal. I've just had a busy time here in LA with all the family and arrangements. I cried a bit at the funeral and over the phone with Geo, but it still really hasn't hit me yet that she's gone. At least I have a bunch of family photos that I can keep, and pictures of me and my Nana. I also have some of my dad's ashes and a rosary that used to belong to my Nana, so I'm bringing home a bunch of meaningful stuff.

Sending wishes for a safe trip home! Hopefully as you get back into the norm of day to day functions you will move on in the grieving process. Cherish the memories!
thats a great thing, bringing home items that mean so much to you. grief is a funny thing, sometimes we hold it toghter, then bam it hits. i hope that once you get home, into your routine, when grief really hits, you will have the support of geo and all of us here on ds. i am sending you many hugss and best of thougths.
