He's getting help
I had my 2 meetings today. One was with the social worker, the Dr & my son the 2nd was the social worker, my son & myself. They are starting him on meds at bed time for mood stability. They are also starting him writing a journal. He says he feels stupid about his behavior & knows he needs help to control it. It all sounds good so far. I get to go up tomorrow & see him. Honestly I don't know how some people can walk away from their children & not give them a 2nd thought. I haven't been to see my son since Wed night when he went to the hospital &haven't talked to him until today. ....it has been hell! I'll update again as soon as I know more

I know how your son feels. My anxiety has caused lots of embarrassing moments and at times I wish I had better control over it. So I know what it is like to have a type of behavior that works against you. Some parents don\'t give their child a second thought because of certain inadequacies that hampers with their ability to help their own child. You decided to call the ambulance because you realize that he has a problem. Some parents would be in denial that their child needed that sort of help. Mostly due to the fact that they don\'t want to be blamed for cause of their child\'s behavior. When you are willing to help a child you have to be willing to give up everything including your pride. I\'m glad he\'s getting the help. You are doing a good job.
