Have You Ever

Have you ever had someone say something to you that just stuck? Just one word, one phrase that no matter what you did, that word or phrase was stuck? I was called "nutz" during one of the worst and most low moments in my life. I was reaching out to someone I cherish.. and I got called "nutz" after that person refused to help me as I was reaching out. Once he responded as though I don't matter to this earth, I ended up cutting my neck. I got called names by someone I love. I am ill I realize this, and I do not take that lightly. I try to give and get support and healing, but my efforts are never seen so I relapes. I feel alone and "disposable". Who on earth has the right to judge my depression, hurt, rage, illness, sadness, etc.? Called me "nutz" and It's just there soaking up my thoughts. I try to ignore it. It's one word right? No, not for someone like me, not from someone I put faith into, not someone I reach out to. Yet people wonder why I don't give 100% of me.. this is why. This is one of the reasons why, because they don't take that time to understand my mind and understand I'm unique and not like other ladies. I have been hurt in many more ways that I should have been at my age. This world is cruel though. My thoughts don't make sence to others. I am unique, not "nutz". At least I admit when I am wrong. At least I've tried to ask for help. At least I try to love. But it's never good enough. I'm never worth the energy. I never said I was easy to love in return, but I am not "nutz" and thats not okay to call me such.

I\'m sorry someone said that to you. The old saying \"sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me\" is a load of crap. Words do hurt, more than sticks and stones imo. So try to hear these words and let them replace whag was said. You are a strong woman. Stronger than most for seeking help and making the committment and effort to make yourself and your situation better. The person who said that to you has his own issues and demons to deal with, and unfortunately it is easier to point the finger at others than to admit our own faults and shortcomings. However, it says much more about him than it does about you. Be blessed.
