Harrassed at the bus stop
I work right up against downtown Minneapolis and for those of you who don't live here there is a street called Lake Street, it's known to be one of the less savory places in Minneapolis, a poorer naighborhood, but that obviously doesn't mean everyone who lives there is a bad person. But either way, today I was waiting for my bus on Chicago and Lake street and this black guy, who is yelling at the bus, gets off and walks towards me. He starts talking to me and I take out my headphones. The minute he gets close I can smell rank, stale beer on his breath. Now I am nervous. He starts telling me about how "Fine" I am, how "Juicy, thick" I am. I wanted to kill him. But most of all I wanted to die. He was loud and voracious, it hurt so much. I guess some woman would like to be called thick and juicy but for me, being a little big bigger than some girls has cause me great pain, and for him to loudly discuss my body, and my size in front of people like that, it brought back all of these horrid feelings about being ugly and fat. He wouldn't leave me alone until finally my bus came and at that point I was shaking and holding back tears as I climbed on the bus and I could still hear him making loud noises about my ass as I climbed on the bus. Never in my life have I felt more embarrassed and hurt. I ended up crying on the bus ride home, luckily no one noticed, or at least they didn't comment on it. But the worst part of this all is that he destroyed my self confidence. For the first time in almost three months I seriously feel the urge to cut myself.

Niggers will be niggers. I\'m not referring to black people, I\'m referring to black people who do shit like that. Don\'t let some idiot destroy your self confidence. You\'re a good person and pretty girl, and anyone who doesn\'t see that is not important :)
Thank you so much!
