hard work

Well, never realized that all the tough work I did would catch up to me so soon. Sounds odd, but I thought because I worked hard , cleaning, painting, hauling..you name it, that my health would be ok  until 70-80. It worked for my folks anyway.
So, I have a lot of admiration for some of my friends who still put in 70 hour weeks, unload  supply trucks for big name dept. stores, and have a family. How do they keep up.
I decided to fight back so to speak. Done with just watching myself ache and do nothing about it. I am walking steps between things I do. Such as, 5 minute break at work so go walk. Did this 6 times the other day. So, about 30 mins of walking. Eventually, I will be walking just to do that. And have a little endurance from all the short walks. I am trying to lose 15 pounds. Just want to. Really. I am pretty good about food etc..but lack exercise.  I know without a doubt that if 15 pounds drop, I will feel a lot better.
I have some issues with breathing. I wake myself because my airway is cut off at times. It is upsetting. And getting worse. To a point of needing help. The biggest from me. It is not good to have that and the heart issues.
So, a little hard work to help my health.
