Happy New Year and good health

I choose royal purple because I feel royal and grand, super mood!!! This is a pic of me on my Boxing Day Feast. I am upstairs taking a smoke and a drink break, margaritas, yum... This is my "I’m done pose". I have prepped everything and got everyone organized with food and libations. Now there on their on their own. If they don’t get enough to fill their tummies it was their fault. Sorry I have not answered journals or written one since the thirty-first. The time has just flown by. We had New Year’s supper with friends and were suppose to watch a movie but David got sick. So we called it an early night and went home and watched some tellie. That was okay by me as I was tired, didn’t see the ball drop that’s for sure. On New Year’s Day we just hung out and rested. Michael has been battling this nasty cold so he needed a day of rest. It was also a major snow storm day, 12 to 15 inches of snow and very high winds, the house would shake. A good day to veg out on the couch. Plus we have been spending a lot of time with Jiji. She needs lots of love and attention right now. We are doing the housebreaking routine. Oh, joy!! Let me tell you it ain’t much fun going out in the storm to have pee, pee. And of, course, all she wants is up because she is cold. Anyway, we had quite a few accidents in the house BUT yesterday and today she has been great. The bowel stuff is not quite there yet. She also had trouble dealing with the crate at night. She would basically cry and howl all night. Even though she was downstairs you could still faintly hear her. Anyway my girlfriend suggested a smaller crate by our bed and every time she whined to rap sharply on the top. So we bough one last night and gave it a try. After about four raps in five minutes that was it she slept through the night! Yesterday was the major cleaning and putting away of all Xmas stuff. I worked like a dog scrubbing floors and carpets for six hours. I was beat and done for the day. We went out to our normal Friday night supper with friends and then home. I had no energy to do anything. I am going to try and get some of your recent journals answered today. But I have a hair appointment and major upstairs cleaning to do. Anyway, you will hear from me in the next day or so. In the meantime, everyone have a Happy New Year and good health..Debbie
