HAPPY NEW YEAR..A DAY LATE!
Cheers to all and Happy New Year!! I missed yesterday.Yesterday my hubby and I worked at getting all the decorations down and the house cleaned. Sure glad that’s over. I love to put it up but not thrilled with taking it down. But it is all done for another year.I have not been too great about getting on here and responding or writing since we returned from our cruise. In part it is the business of the season. The other part is that I just can seem to shake this cold/flu thing that I have happening. As a result, I have zippo for energy. This of course, affects my weight loss. Oh, well, I am hoping that I can get to tan on Monday and maybe join the gym there for a month. Um...the road to good intentions!!! Well, I am motivated to lose because we will soon be off again for our all inclusive vacation to Puerto Plata. We leave on January 21 and return on the 28th. I am anxious to see how I enjoy an all inclusive compared to cruising. I am sure each will have pros and cons. But just getting somewhere warm will be nice.Today is miserable here. We are expecting a fair amount of snow, high winds and then maybe some rain then back to freezing. Oh, joy; the roads will be a mess. Well, I am staying put, indoors with my fireplace and a good book or movie. Maybe hubby and I will play the new game we got for Christmas, backgammon. I played years ago but forget all the rules. I am sure it will come back to me. And I am positive that hubby will beat me!! I think he cheats..LOL!!Well, gotta trot. I will be in touch.Debbie

Cheers to you Debbie! It\'s a pain to put all the decorations away but it is also cleansing. I am hoping the snow will go up to my armpits - I am to the point where I really don\'t want to go to work....... I expected that!

Nope wasn\'t there. I swore I told you about our all inclusive trip to Cozumel. I t was awesome. The resort had 5 restaurants and 5 pools, one for kids, yippy. Lots to do, games, water games, really friendly people and you know the kind of waiters I like. Tall dark and tight buns. Oops sorry, got carried away. I can\'t wait to go back there. Last time we had reservations was when they had the hurricane hit and the travel agent sent us to Puerta Valarta (sp). It was really nice there because of the waves on the ocean. I boogie boarded till I was shriveled up like a prune. I like both sides but I think I like Cozumel better. The ocean is fun but hard to swim in. I am sure you will have a great time and you can always go to town shopping and eat if you want a change. Food is not a big deal to me so I was satisfied with everything they had. Tons of food, and drinks, WOO HOO. I am jealous again. Naomi xo
