happy birthday to my sweet, sensitive son

Happy birthday in Heaven,  Ed! Tonight your kids, Elaine and your 2 best friends Mike and Donna are coming by. I have made your favorite spice cake; the one I made for you every year as a little boy and even into adulthood even though you said I didn't need to bother. It was my pleasure. It is still is an honor to make you a cake, although it feels very different. Tonight we will celebrate your earthly life. We will have moments of happiness and sadness.
I believe you are surrounded in God's perfect love and that is comforting. I am fine & so are the kids but of course we miss you everyday. Have a beautiful celebration in Heaven and know you are loved on earth and in Heaven.
