Happy Birthday Don.
I'm not doing very well today.... I hope you can see me from Heaven sometimes. I hope you here me saying (happy birthday). Most of all, I want you to be having the best time of your life right now. I'm very sad, and I miss you so much, but I'll join you sometime soon. You were sick for so long and then you were gone and that's how I feel about my life because when I join you in Heaven I think I'll feel like my life here really was just a breath, a heart beat, a vapor compared to eternity. I hope we work together in Heaven, and are never parted again. I love you forever, Kim

Kim, I am glad you are talking to your hubby. I do the same thing. If they see us or hear us they know that we are sad and sometimes confused and overwhelmed with somethings. I ask my husband to help me. Sometimes it makes me feel a little more calm. And I know what it\'s like to have a sick husband. I cared for my husband 1st cancer 2003 and it took him 5 years before he could work again. I worked from home with my job, so I was here to care for him like a nurse and wife and animal care, bills etc etc.
Then again in 2013 another diagnosis/cancer.His last few months were so hard and stressful. Watching you loved one go from a smiling talkative humorous person to a person with a changed personality and finally unable to talk or move at all. I learned from Hospice how to move him on the hospital bed and turn him over etc. Oh my, our husbands suffered and we had to see the pain.
So happy birthday to your husband, Don. Kim, my husband\'s name was Don too.
Take care.
Letty
Happy birthday to Don also. I too can relate to caring for my husband through his illness. The suffering he endured for years was brutal. And so here we are, trying to make some sort of life for ourselves without a clue how to do that. Hugs and Love to all, Michele
It is difficult to go through special days. Be strong Kim-big hug Patti
Kim, I feel your heartache. I can say this. For sure you can feel it was a privilege to care for him while he was ill. I have always felt so bad at never having that chance. My Husband went so quickly. He had a stroke, was unable to communicate, was paralyzed and passed away one week later.
We never saw it coming. There were no conversations. I know it was best for him as he didn\'t have to suffer for a long time as yours did. My thoughts are with you. May Peace and strength be your.Hugs from Your friend. Dolores
