Happy Anniversary
Today would have been our 37th wedding anniversary. I wasn't sure how today was going to go. I came to work and have had a couple of break downs. I did not want to sit at home alone and wallow in self pity.
I was pleasantly surprised that a few friends remembered and posted something on Facebook. My kids got together and sent me a bouquet to work.
I did not hear anything yet from my in-laws, but the day is young. I honestly don't expect to as I spoke to my MIL both on Sunday and Monday of this week and she didn't even mention it.
The kids are taking me out for dinner tonight.
I suppose I am not technically married, but August 13th will always be special to me.

I am so glad your anniversery went well. Mine is coming September 2. I am going to the part of the coast where I scattered Mikes ashes. It will be hard but I want to celebrate the day I bacame Mike\'s wife. It was glourious.
