HAPPINESS IS.....
Allan K. Chalmers: The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. I really like this quote, a good guide to live by. I think I do so well at managing my bi polar because I do, for the most part, live my life with these three simple directives. Oh, yes, I do have my down times and the days when I think I am in hell. But over the years I have used these tools and some others to make my trips there less frequent and less prolonged. I am blessed to be able to do so.Well, the cruise is only 9 days away but we actually leave home in 7 days. One of these days is to travel to Halifax, about two hours away; this is where the airport is located. And due to the early flight we always stay at the airport hotel where we leave our car in their secured lot and get shuttled to and from the airport. On the 11th, we fly to Toronto and then on to Orlando. We stay the night in Orlando, their cost. The next day around noon we are shuttled to Port Canaveral were the ship is docked. Now that almost everything is done for xmas I am excited. I am very pleased with the fact that everything did get done for the holidays. I will have very little to do when I return. So I can really enjoy the trip without worries.I will be thinking about all of my DS friends and wishing you all well.I hope to get back on here a time or two before I go. But if I don’t it is because I am just run off my feet with appointments etc.Everyone, please, try to find some happiness by following the three little rules. Debbie

Good girl, Debbie! I am so glad you are taking it easier and enjoying the time before your trip.It does feel nice when all the preparations for the holidays are pretty much done. SO much less pressure on us then. I got the last (maybe) presents in, for my granddaughters today. Some dvds for the girls, Backyardigans! cute stuff and I know they will like them. The rest of the shopping is pretty well done now. I will be spending the holiday with my family as usual this year, Thanksgiving was good with my son and his family, and not so hard for me, since that was my first holiday on my own again. I am managing, and it should get easier as more time goes on.
Love,
Susanne
To me you are a BP wonder women. Enjoy your trip and know I am thinking about you, as in missing you and being jealous. Bring me home a rock. That way if we ever meet you can give it to me. Love Naomi xo
