Half Ass Confronted My Sister
She is on a four day 'vacation'. So after I found out about her lying to me about the money I told myself I was NOT going to contact her. We would talk when we got home....however....it ate at me and ate at me and I text her. Not my most shining moment....but sitting there thinking about how she could do that to me was just killing me inside!
This is how our convo went:
ME- So I was talking to Krystal and she mentioned she hadn't been paid...where the rest of the money you owe me?
TILLY- You'll get it, relax
ME- No...you LIED to me and that's not ok
TILLY- I didn't lie, I gave her some money
ME-not the 100 you took from me you didn't
TILLY- Your both gonna get your money, so whats the issue?
ME- The issue is that you took money that wasn't yours...lied about it...and went drinking for the weekend. The issue is that you seem to think that that was ok.
TILLY- Why are you trying to ruin my vacation? You'll get your money so what's the problem?
ME-I'm not trying to ruin your vacation...I just thought my little sister was above lying and stealing...sorry....I guess I was wrong
(bear in mind here, I'm FURIOUS! Not doing too well at holding my temper....oops)
TILLY-I didn't steal anything
ME- It wasn't your money Til, not like you think...we will talk more when you get back
TILLY-You get paid the same amount regardless even though you don't watch him all those hours
ME-But you didn't pay me
TILLY-Yes I did and I'm gonna give you that other 100 but you don't seem to get it. You watch him 3 days a week not full time.
ME- Yea, but the money is government issued to ME...if it was you paying then I wouldn't care...and my BIGGEST issue is that you lied to my face about why you were shorting me...that hurts
(Here she must of been talking to Krystal as well...and Krystal is threatening to stop watching Julian because of how she is acting)
TILLY- You fuck up my weekend sitter and that leaves me unemployed
ME-What? I didn't do anything...you did it to yourself if anything
TILLY-No, your talking shit about me to other people and you are both gonna get paid so chill out
ME-She and I were talking, it came up that I had been paid and she hadn't. I'm allowed to talk to people. If you had paid her what you said you would, when you said you would...it wouldn't of mattered.
TILLY-I'm gonna pay her so whatever
ME-Go keep drinking...have fun...we will be talking about this when your home.
Now, I know that I could of been a tad more mature. But I'm so upset, so hurt, so ANGRY that she would lie to me, think its okay, and then turn it around and try to blame me?

This is so typical, isn\'t it? They go blaming other people while they do their thing. This is not you being immature. It\'s your sister being immature. I\'m sorry... I just don\'t understand though, why do you keep helping her? Maybe she doesn\'t want your help, otherwise she wouldn\'t treat you this way. You have every legit reason to be angry, but at the end of the day you let her do this to you. Get the money she owes you and let her be in whichever fashion she wants to be.

You didn\'t really sound immature to me. Just mad - which you have a right to be. I am glad you confronted her - it isn\'t good to let people walk all over you and especially with something concerning the government and how you could get in trouble for it. You have a right to be mad about this.. try not to be hard on yourself!
