Guys help me out on this.

On Friday of last week I got the grade of my 5th class at school.  It was a horrible grade!  It ruined my 4.0!!!! i was livid because I knew that this professor had discriminated against me.  She decided before the first day of class was over that I was not going to do well and every time I spoke she would speak down to me or belittle me in some way!  It was awful!  I know that this is the case because she went back after grading my final and changed the grade by whiting out her first choice and changing it to I'm sure what she felt it should be!  I called the Dean of students because I wanted to discuss this situation....  The Dean of students just returned my call.  I told her about the fact that we were not given reason why points were taken off and she said that the teacher is allowed to do that.  They have the creative license to grade as they see fit.  She said another class had a problem with a teacher there that took points off for spelling, and grammar and they were very upset, but The Dean stated that she stood behind the professor because the professor is who sets the expectations.  She went on to say that she didn't think a B+ was that bad and she was going to recommend to the Dean that this is not an issue "unless something irregular or illegal."  Now i'm not sure what irregular means, but I'm going to go in with a list so... In reality this woman was unfair and discriminatory and not a "regular" choice for the school.  Maybe that consititutes for irregular who knows!So Highlights      inconsistent grading policy between students     no focus on science specific material - explicit instruction of methods and strategies     use of humiliation and embarrassment in classroom discussion, classroom management.     expected the class to wear a princess crown (including the one male in the classroom) as well as to wave a pretend plastic wand, and wear Dr Seuss hats from Burger King.       Did not teach what was required, indicated on the syllabus and necessary for the course.  On the syllabus we were supposed to do an Aims lesson, Guided lesson, Webquest etc. All of which was supposed to occur between 1 and 4 on Saturday the ???.  We never covered these in full, and one was a suggestion for our portfolio which we do not have.  In addition we received full credit for these items in our grades but were graded harshly on these topics on our test, even though they were not covered.       in passing it would be mentioned to one student that they are not to use double spacing on a paper and then the whole class was expected to know this was the case, without her addressing it formally for the class.       She came in unprepared without our files and took with her our course requirements not giving us a copy, even when asked to provide the students with a copy.     I'm thinking that I might suggest to my classmates that we sign a petition helping the Dean become aware of the situation of this class and this professor.   We the students of XXXX expected in Science to receive adequate training based on the elements presented to us in the syllabus and following the standards of excellence up held by XXXX University.  We do NOT feel that these standards of excellence were met.  We do NOT feel that the elements presented to us on the syllabus were sufficiently covered and we were NOT given the opportunity to learn the XXXX Science approved curriculum from our said professor.Signed:   What do you guys think?
