Grief never ends

Grief never ends…………….But it changes.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor lack of faith.
Grief is a passage, a journey to a new place.
Grief is the price we pay for love.

There is an elephant in the room. It is always with me wherever I go. Surely everyone can see it. How could they not see it? Some people pretend it is not there. How can they not see it?
How lucky I am to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard.   A.A. Milne
Just once, I would love to look out the window and see someone pulling up in the driveway.
Her Dad said of her Mother after she passed, “She was good for me “. I must accept the same and move on with what I have. I must learn, she is not here. I must learn, she is not going to be here. I already know everything I have is because of her. What am I going to do?
I still have my Dad. I have ------. I have -----. I have ---. I have her family. I have my family.
I have been afraid to even acknowledge things I have. I have so many thing and I am glad to have them. I really do have so much. I have a nice house. I have nice cars. I have some money in the bank. I have nice things. I have a nice church. I have a nice bible study group. I have a few friends. I have a great family. Yes, I have lost so much, but I still have so much. I must not be afraid to see it or appreciate it.
I am tired of crying. I am not going to do it anymore. If that means I must be stone cold then so be it. I have had enough of the tears. Tears are not getting me anywhere.
