Grief intensifies your feelings whatever they may be

Grief seems to intensify your feelings whatever they are whether you are happy, sad, patien,  or impatient.  When I am out with my brother Don and feel slightly impatient, this feeling gets intensified like 1000% and I get angry at him.  I am lucky that Don recognizes that it is my grief doing all this.  I feel so bad but I can't seem to stop myself.  If someone annoys me, I feel angry.  If someone does something stupid, I get angry.   If something does a kind or loving act, I am ready to cry.  If someone shows kindness to me, I am ready to cry.  All these feelings are not normal but the grief talking loud a clear.  It is as if you are another person, I want my old self back again.  I wonder if I will be like my old self again.   I guess after the loss or losses in our lives we cannot go back to being who we were but have to start all over again as a new person.  Has anyone gone thru this and come back out of it, what happens?  When you lose the love of your life you just want the entire world to stop and mourn with you, but it's not going to happen.  I was at the Lansdowne Mall, Richmond, BC Canada with Don and it reminds me 100% of my husband.  I felt so sad and grief stricken over my entire body.  I come home to an empty apartment and there is no one here to greet me any more.  I miss him so much.  It has been just over 2 months now for me.   There does not seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.  People who have not lost a person in their life do not know what we are going thru and they make me angry.  The ones who have walked in our shoes know that grief takes time to heal and live with the hole in our hearts.  The whole in my heart seems  huge right now.
