Greenish Smiley Monday
Lorraine finally has a diagnosis. It is cancer, as I suspected. The greenish part is that it is slow growing, It is a very rare cancer. The clinical nurse specialist said she had never had a patient with it. Lorraine is now referred to a surgeon as she will need to have the tumor removed. If all goes well, she won't need chemo.
I am back in Edmonton helping finish up the move. Once the movers had moved the furniture, Andrew and Tiina realized how much more they had to do. We should get most of it done tomorrow. Then they have a couple of days to clean.
So it is an okay Monday - not great but okay.

I\'m so sorry the news for Lorraine wasn\'t better~~ Praying, hoping, wishing, and believing that once the tumor is removed she will be cancer free forever.
Moving is never as easy as you think, and never quite over when you think! Good luck to Andrew and Tiina!

Continued healing for Lorraine and moving is SO much work!!! I think when anyone does it they say they hope they never have to again for a very long, long time! When we helped move our daughter and her family a year ago I couldn\'t believe how exhausting it is. Honestly, I thought it would be so much easier if all we had were tents and a few necessities. Too much STUFF!

It\'s wonderful to hear that there is a good prognosis. That\'s a lot better than what she originally thought. I pray that Lorraine will around for many many more years to enjoy your friendship together.

Cancer is bad news - but slow growing and maybe no chemo sounds very positive. A friend\'s husband had something similar in the lung - it was totally removed with no further treatment necessary. Ten years on he\'s perfectly fine! Take care of yourrself ~ Joanna x
More and more people are living with cancer as a chronic condition. My cousin was sure she was dying last summer, and went into hospice care. The dear lady is still alive and enjoying her family.
I hope that you have your dear friend for a very long time. It\'s good that she won\'t be suffering chemo. Well, you always knew she was rare, and not there\'s proof.

Once the cancer tumer is out and the margins are clear what could the prognosses be.... do they grow back slowly and raise hell again ?
The kids sound busy and of course you...As long as you all are happy right !
