Green Smiley Monday

It is a lovely sunny white Monday here in Calgary.  The green is a way off yet.
I woke up unusually positive - perhaps because I have started to do yoga and meditate.  The meditation is hard - I need to calm my overactive mind.  Or maybe I am positive because I am going to one of my favourite places on earth on Wednesday - Tofino, British Columbia.  It is on the far west coast of Vancouver Island.  We fly to Victoria tomorrow, rent a car and drive the next day.
Tofino is a bit remote and is known for whale watching, surfing, kayaking and anything to do with the ocean.  We won't be doing any of those things - just relaxing and hopefully storm watching!  This is the best time of year to see the highest surf and wild weather.  It is also know to be one of the rainiest places in Canada but there is beauty in all types of weather, though I am getting tired of the frigid weather here.  The coast is warmer and wet.
I am thankful for Barbara for helping so many of us through the absolutely worst time of our lives.  I wish Barbara and her family and friends peace as she leaves this earthly plane.
